   From the first person in her remote village in Pakistan to attend university, to a doctorate, Dr Maryam Kawsar graduated from LJMU with a PhD today.

8. International endorsement of sport strength and conditioning internship at LJMU

   The International Universities Strength and Conditioning Association has recognised LJMU for the quality of its Performance Sport Internship Scheme.
