1. Data protection related policy updates

   Four data protection related policies have been updated and can now be found on the LJMU Policy Centre.

2. Confidential Waste Policy update

   The updated policy includes further information on disposing of small amounts of confidential waste in confidential waste bins across the university and on how you can order secure bags for larger quantities.

3. Finance policy updates

   The University Financial Regulations and other supporting policies have received important updates. Read the latest from Finance Director Hannah Argo.

4. New Subcontracting Policy approved

   The approved Subcontracting Policy sets out the requirement for subcontracting provision for degree apprenticeships delivered across the university.

5. Updates to Relocation Policy for new staff

   The Relocation Policy for new staff has been updated to ensure it reflects HMRC guidance.

6. Complete the Student Lifestyle and Health Survey 2024

   Each year we run this survey, it only takes 10 minutes to complete and asks you a range of questions from how much sleep you get, to if you get anxious and how often you feel stressed.

7. Graduation dates announced for March 2023

   Our next graduation ceremonies are now scheduled to take place between Monday 27 – Wednesday 29 March 2023

8. International student engagement and assessment policy updates

   Changes have been made to some LJMU staff policies.

9. Aldham Robarts Library to reopen on Sundays from 7 January

   We’re pleased to share that the Aldham Robarts Library will resume its normal opening hours and will once again be open on Sundays from 7 January.
