1. New Subcontracting Policy approved

   The approved Subcontracting Policy sets out the requirement for subcontracting provision for degree apprenticeships delivered across the university.

2. Staff Infobase (Oracle E-Business Suite) is being upgraded

   Staff Infobase (Oracle E-Business Suite) is being upgraded over the Easter weekend. The upgraded system will be available by 8am on Tuesday 6th April. The upgrade will move the system to the latest version of the software, ensuring that it remains up-to-date and continues to effectively support the University's business.

3. Seminar series: decolonising the science curriculum

   This is a virtual seminar series to encourage discourse on decolonising the curriculum in the sciences.

4. National Student Survey 2022

   We are launching the National Student Survey (NSS) 2022 to eligible final year students next week.

5. P60s now available on Staff Infobase

   P60s for the tax year 2023-24 (ending 5 April 2024) are now available on Staff Infobase.

6. Go ahead for new treatment for Black Bone Disease

   A new drug to treat the ultra-rare genetic disease alkaptonuria (AKU) has been given the go-ahead following research in Liverpool.

7. £4k raised so far through NSS

   Final year students have raised £4,000 for charity so far, by completing the National Student Survey.

8. Data protection related policy updates

   Four data protection related policies have been updated and can now be found on the LJMU Policy Centre.

9. NSS charity donation reaches £4,900

   Our final year students have raised a fantastic £4,900 for charity in the first two weeks of the National Student Survey (NSS) 2020.

10. Thesis Boot Camp

    PGRs attended 2 day residential writing event, at Gladstone's Library in Wales.
