The Research Centre for Critical Infrastructure Computer Technology and Protection (PROTECT) specialises in: security to safeguard systems against cyber-attacks, networking to support the systems’ distributed operations, game techniques, as well as software engineering and artificial intelligence. Will is an award-winning lecturer in our School of Biological and Environmental Sciences. He has been able to use technology to transform student learning.
The Research Institute for Sport and Exercise Science areas of expertise are organised into research groups and exchanges which focus on the following: biomechanics, cardiovascular health, exercise metabolism, brain and behaviour, physical activity, sport psychology and football-related research.

Shaquita is the 2022/23 Liverpool John Moores Students’ Union (JMSU) Vice President for Education and is passionate about furthering diversity in education. Having lost her mum during her own studies, she demonstrated incredible courage to have completed her degree at such a challenging time in her life, and to then go on to represent the student voice at JMSU.
The Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) team is refining and strengthening TEL provision, awareness and support, across the university.

Trish is the Chief Nurse, Chief Operations Officer, and Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Clinical Services at Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust. In 2023, she was awarded an honorary fellowship for her dedication to public health and nursing throughout her career spanning over three decades in the NHS.
Tag-Art is Nicola Taggart's mural and art workshop business. Nicola worked with the Centre for Entrepreneurship when starting her business venture.
