4. Understanding the effectiveness of the James’ Place therapeutic model

   The aim of this study is to examine how effective the James’ Place therapeutic model is helping men overcome their suicidal crisis in both the short- and long-term.

5. The effectiveness and acceptability of Suicide Postvention Liaison Services for Individuals Bereaved by Suicide

   This study aims to interview people supported by these services, the employees delivering this support, commissioners and key wider services who may have links to the services, including coroners, police, GPs and public health officials.

6. PhD studies within the Research Centre for Brain and Behaviour

   PhD students within the Research Centre for Brain and Behaviour are working on interesting projects including: investigating pain in autism, the impact of taste, and pain mechanisms.
