Over 10,000 LJMU students from the Class of 2021 and 2022 have graduated over the past fortnight at Liverpool Anglican Cathedral.
The prestigious titles are awarded to those who have made an outstanding contribution to society, or an outstanding achievement by an individual in a given field, resonating with the ethos and values of the university and the city of Liverpool.
Pupils from across the city have engaged with a variety of LJMU projects to experience graduation first hand.
Here are some highlights of what happened at the first two graduation ceremonies of the week.
Primary and secondary school pupils have been recognised by LJMU’s Pro-Vice-Chancellor for demonstrating what respect means to them, and their school communities, as part of a creative competition.
The second day of LJMU's 2016 winter Graduation Ceremonies took place in the sunshine at Liverpool Cathedral on Friday 25 November 2016.
LJMU academic staff travelled to Malta to recognise and celebrate the achievements of a group of graduating students.

The morning saw graduations from Maritime and Mechanical Engineering, the Astrophysics Research Institute, Electronics and Electrical Engineering and the School of Nursing and Allied Health. In the afternoon Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering and Technology Research Institute, Civil Engineering and Built Environment all celebrated their graduations.
