   Five candidates have put themselves forwards for the position and voting will take place between Monday 13 and 27 March.

   As part of our employee wellbeing focus, we are again offering staff a voucher for a free winter flu jab.

3. Your LJMU, Your Voice: staff survey findings

   The results of the Your LJMU, Your Voice staff survey reveal that employees consider LJMU to be a good place to work but there are clear areas for improvement. More than 1,400 staff – over 53% of our workforce – took part in the survey in May to help the university learn more about the experience of working here.

4. LJMU Staff Networks move to Teams

   From this month the process to join a staff network has moved to the LJMU website and Microsoft Teams, making it even easier to join one of LJMU’s staff networks

5. Academic Board Elections - Non-Teaching Staff

   Following the call for nominations, an election for the non-teaching member of staff on Academic Board will take place.

   Did you know that you can add additional security around viewing and changing your bank details in Staff Infobase?

7. Your new Academic Staff Governor Caroline Wilkinson

   Following a fortnight-long election period, Caroline received the majority of votes out of the eight self-nominated candidates and will now serve on the Board for the next three years.

8. LJMU funded bootcamp programme for staff

   We are funding 16 staff places on a new bootcamp programme which will see you complete ’24 in 24’ – that’s 24 sessions in 2024.

9. Long service staff celebrate milestones

   Long service staff who have worked at the university for over 25 years were celebrated at an event at the Hilton, Liverpool last week.
