Andrea is part of LJMU’s dedicated School of Education team who support and train our teachers of the future. She is also committed to driving forwards social justice, putting that ethos into all that she does, inspiring others so that they can raise their own aspirations.

LJMU Biodiversity and Conservation Group
We provide a research training environment with opportunities for students and staff to develop their academic, theoretical, technical and research methods skills. LJMU works with a number of schools and colleges to provide opportunities to help pupils with their maths or English, work as a teaching assistant, mentor, after school club facilitators or offer subject support.
Lilly is an inspiring media production student who aims to break down barriers in the movie industry and is inspired by trailblazing women in film, and her own family too. She’s also a dedicated volunteer, having raised money and given her time to various charities in Teeside. In 2023, her volunteering work was recognised as she was awarded a British Citizen Youth Award.
