1. Sexual violence in Liverpool bars and clubs to be tackled by campaign

   A campaign to reduce sexual violence in bars and clubs across Liverpool City Centre has been launched today in partnership with LJMU.

3. REF 2021 Consideration for Individual Circumstances

   As part of the University’s commitment to supporting equality and diversity in the forthcoming Research Excellence Framework (REF 2021), we have put in place safe and supportive structures for eligible academic staff to declare information about any equality-related circumstances that may have affected their ability to research productively during the assessment period (1 January 2014 – 31 December 2020), and particularly their ability to produce research outputs at the same rate as staff not affected by circumstances.

   YPC International College and LJMU graduate 150 students in July

7. 135 students graduate from global partner Westford University College

   Over 135 students have graduated this March at a ceremony in Dubai.

8. Framework for Academic Quality and Standards Policy update

   This staff policy has had a minor amendment.

9. Changes to Harvard LJMU Referencing

   From the start of the 2024/25 academic year the institutional style for Harvard referencing is changing from Harvard LJMU to Harvard Cite Them Right.
