In celebration of National Biomechanics Day 2023 (Wednesday 5 April), the Biomechanics Research Group within LJMU’s School of Sport and Exercise Sciences, delivered an exciting, fun-filled, activity packed event with schoolgirls from a Liverpool primary school.

For the past two years, colleagues across LJMU have been working to better understand and recognise the type of support needed by those experiencing the menopause, and to devise ways to create greater awareness across the organisation.
In celebration of National Care Leavers Week LJMU welcomed 40 looked after pupils from 10 schools across the North West Region.
Research regarding the discovery of a new species of human relative shedding light on the origins and diversity of our origins was selected as the second most important scientific story in 2015.
The next assessment period for LJMU students will take place from Monday 22 April to Friday 3 May 2024 (inclusive).
