   Dr Nick Dawnay from the School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences has been awarded a £10K in support of a project looking to develop eDNA methods to support wildlife forensic investigations.

   NameCoach software has been integrated with LJMU systems to help users add name pronunciations at the bottom of email signatures.

4. Fab Lab Liverpool creates board games to support LJMU research

   Fab Lab were commissioned by LJMU’s Research and Innovation Services to support two different projects, one to help students develop their research proposals and one that shines a light on the probation service.

5. Collaborating with the chemical and shipping industry for a technology-driven low carbon supply chain

   LJMU recently brought together representatives from the chemical and shipping industry to discuss innovative solutions to the sector’s supply chain.

6. Face Lab wins Research Team of the Year

   Liverpool John Moores University’s Face Lab has scooped the 2019 Educate North Research Team of the Year Award, for its innovative techniques in craniofacial identification and forensic art.

7. Astro-ecology: Saving endangered animals with software for the stars

   A collaboration between astrophysicists and ecologists at Liverpool John Moores University is helping to monitor rare and endangered species and stop poaching.
