   LJMU lifted the Outstanding University Entrepreneurship Award trophy at this year’s Times Higher Education Awards.

   Baroness Valerie Amos, Under-Secretary General for Humanitarian Affairs, United Nations, delivered a Roscoe Lecture entitled ‘The role of the United Nations in a world riven by conflict, poverty and hunger.’

3. MA Art in Science students present at World Museum Liverpool

   Art in Science master’s students from Liverpool School of Art & Design have recently collaborated with World Museum Liverpool curators to present ‘A New View: Silica’; a temporary exhibit in the museum foyer’s display case.

6. 'Most Inspirational Student Nurse of the Year' awarded to LJMU's John Wells

   Third year Adult Nursing student, John Wells, has picked up the ‘Most Inspirational Student Nurse of the Year’ award at the Student Nursing Times Awards 2023.

7. LJMU PHD student Valeria Carini recognised at Pandemic Institute’s first Student Excellence Awards

   Valeria was presented the award alongside students from the University of Liverpool and Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine with grants for scientific research, aimed to enhance preparedness for future pandemics.

8. Law Students Take Part in Mock Employment Tribunal Event

   As part of LJMU's School of Law ethos to provide students with career-shaping opportunities, students recently participated in a mock employment tribunal at Liverpool Town Hall. The event allowed students to experience the inner workings of an Employment Tribunal and observe the skills and knowledge needed as they progress towards their careers in the legal sector. The students were able to experience a simulated trial thanks to the teams at Brabners, 9 St John Street Chambers and Adaptable Recruitment.

9. The Writer’s Friend: A Roscoe Lecture ‘In Conversation’ with Nicola Shindler

   Manchester-born Nicola Shindler, an award-winning British television producer and executive, delivered an insightful and inspiring Roscoe Lecture ‘In Conversation’ event at St George’s Hall.
