  3. Teaching and Learning Academy surveys

    The Teaching and Learning Academy assist in the admin, interpretation and results' dissemination of surveys, the outcomes of which inform teaching practice and improve the student experience.

  5. Children and young people insight

    This project aims to create a universal definition of physical literacy in England to hopefully catalyse efforts to adopt, support and promote physical literacy in practice.

  6. Electrical and Electronic Engineering facilities

    The Electrical and Electronic Engineering Research Centre has a wide range of facilities, including probe stations, test samples, semiconductor parameter analyzers and a range of three-phase and multiphase (five-phase, six-phase and nine-phase) machines too. The Centre also has two-level and three-level voltage source inverters and a three-phase to nine-phase direct matrix converter.

  7. Social behaviour, ecology and conservation

    Our interest lies in the evolution of animal societies and the interactions that occur within these societies and their link to emotion, cognition and communication. We primarily study primates (including humans) but also other species including birds.   8. Sustainable Resource Processing and Reuse

    The Sustainable Resource Processing and Reuse theme is investigating advanced technologies and solutions to address current sustainability goals, climate change and reduction of carbon footprint for example anaerobic digestion, biodiesel production from waste streams, water and wastewater purification and resource capture.

  9. Natural Products Formulation and Delivery

    The Centre for Natural Products Discovery is concerned with preventing and curing disease. Find out about formulation and delivery of natural products including the use of nanoparticles for drug delivery of natural products.

  10. Drug use and drug policy

    Drug use and drug policy research within the Centre for the Study of Crime, Criminalisation and Social Exclusion.
