  2. Dr Craig Hammond

    Craig is an inspiring educator who embodies everything that LJMU stands for in 2023 - to be student focused, inclusive and courageous in all that we do. He was recognised in 2022 with a National Teaching Fellowship Award for his outstanding impact on student outcomes and the teaching profession in higher education.

  4. Safeguarding at LJMU

    At LJMU the safety and wellbeing of our students is a priority. To ensure that all students can learn and achieve safely, free from abuse, harassment and harm, we have developed a safeguarding policy and associated procedures.

  5. Phil Bakstad

    Phil has worked at LJMU for over 16 years. He’s currently the Student Inclusion Lead within the Student Advice and Wellbeing Team and has recently started a new role as Diversity and Inclusion Associate Dean for Professional Services. Since 2010, Phil has also led on organising and representing LJMU at the annual Liverpool Pride March.

    We are an award-winning research group that provides informatics solutions for safer and cheaper new molecules by linking chemical structure and physico-chemical properties to biological activity and effects.     LJMU in the Community is an outreach initiative based in the community of L8 designed to support access to Higher Education through student-led sessions, talks and events, as well as tailored admissions, personal statement and student finance support.
