  1. (Post)qualitative Research in Education

    The (Post)qualitative Research in Education group recognises and works across the following areas of activity and interest: ‘Research in Psychogeography, Post-qualitative inquiry, Autoethnography, and Life-Writing in education’ (RiPPALe).

  2. Rationale for the network and further information

    The DisSPA network aims to provide a transdisciplinary space to connect members and allies who advocate for, and collaborate to, enhance the provision of more inclusive and empowering sport and physical activity opportunities for people with disability.

  3. Nutrition and Health

    Within the Nutrition and Health Research Group, we deliver meaningful research which examines the relationships between food, nutrition and health. Our expertise includes: nutritional science, nutrition and public health, physical activity and health; and food quality. Find out more about our specific areas of interest and meet the researchers.

  4. SDG 3 - Good health and wellbeing

    We work to ensure the optimal health and wellbeing across multiple societal groups, from the youngest to oldest members of society, to elite athletes and individuals with significant health and wellbeing challenges. We promote healthy lives and physical, social and metal wellbeing across Liverpool. We are also committed to tackling global health challenges in low-resourced settings in the Global South.

  5. Para-Disability coach education and learning

    Tabo Huntley, LJMU Senior Lecturer in Sports Coaching, has recently secured a £330,000 Erasmus+ funded project to design and implement a European Para Coaching Framework and design an online resource for coaches working or intending to work within a para coach setting.

  6. Habi Ceesay

    Habi was born in the Gambia but spent most of her formative years in Germany before moving to the UK. She has overcome the obstacles and discrimination that she faced throughout her childhood and teenage years in Germany, to seek out her own opportunities, to educate herself and to work with others to challenge unconscious bias and promote inclusivity.

    The broad purpose of the occupation is the design and technical responsibility for the construction and maintenance of ships, boats, other marine vessels and offshore structures, both civil and military.
