She’s an alumna from our School of Sport and Exercise Sciences and was supported during her studies as a Sports Scholar.

    Ami is an engineer with a passion for sailing. She is a graduate of the university’s BSc (Hons) Product Innovation and Development programme and has since gone on to make history as a member of the first all-female team to win an around the world yacht race on the Maiden yacht.

    In the Brain and Behaviour Research Group within RISES, we study human motor behaviour from the neural level through to perception and cognition. Our two main areas of research are sensorimotor neuroscience and expert performance and learning.

    Researchers from the Microelectronics Research Group are investigating new technologies and materials. Members from the Group are also exploring ‘show-stoppers’ for optimizing digital/analogue circuits.
