1. Encourage your students to share their feedback

   This March is Student Voice Month and we are asking staff to encourage all students to share their feedback and suggestions about studying at LJMU.

2. Graduate and Placement Recruitment Fair – 10 March, 12-3pm, Student Life Building

   Students from any programme or level of study are invited to attend this fair to meet and network with 50+ employers offering internships, placements and graduate roles.

3. Honorary Fellowship: Simon Kirby

   Liverpool John Moores University awards Honorary Fellowship to Simon Kirby at Liverpool Cathedral on Tuesday 12 July 2016.

4. Recruitment Officer Oliver to stage production at Shakespeare North Playhouse

   LJMU staff member Oliver Back is delighted to share that his latest production is set to be staged at the Shakespeare North Playhouse.

5. Teaching Staff - Call For Nominations to the Board of Governors

   Nominations are sought to fill one vacancy on the Board of Governors for a Staff Governor (Teaching) for the period 1st April 2020 to 31st March 2023.

6. Professional Services Staff Governor Elections

   Five candidates have put themselves forwards for the position and voting will take place between Monday 13 and 27 March.

7. Staff Governor voting now open

   All Professional Services staff have until 5pm on Monday 27 March to vote for their preferred Staff Governor candidate.

8. Electric racing cars to robotics: Chancellor inspired by FET students' latest work

   LJMU Chancellor Nisha Katona has caught up with students from LJMU’s Faculty of Engineering and Technology to hear about their latest work and research.

9. In memoriam: Aldham Robarts

   The LJMU community is deeply saddened by the death of Aldham Robarts, an Honorary Fellow, trustee and passionate supporter of the university.

10. The First British Astronaut - Helen Sharman CMG OBE Is Coming To LJMU!

    On 17th March 2021 Helen Sharman, the first British person in Space and first British Astronaut will give a talk at Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU). Helen will be speaking about her life and career as a scientist and as the first British astronaut.
