2. Sport and Exercise Science education adds £3.9 billion income to the UK economy

   Results of a new report show that Sport and Exercise Science courses added £3.9 billion in income to the UK economy, with average salaries for SES graduates after six months of employment at £21,100 per annum. Over the course of their careers, SES graduates earn on average £667,000 more compared to their non-graduate peers.

3. Hats off to the Faculty of Education Health and Community

   At the first of the day's Graduation Ceremonies, education students from LJMU's Faculty of Education, Health and Community collected their certificates at Liverpool Cathedral.

   LJMU is the best provider of teacher training in Merseyside, following the outcome of the latest report produced by the independent inspector of schools and teacher training, Ofsted.

7. Liverpool School of Art and Design MA students' work celebrated in exhibition

   The end of year exhibition runs until 1 September 2023, 10am – 5pm at the John Lennon Art and Design Building.

9. Researchers on hand at Tim Peake link up

   Researchers from LJMU’s Astrophysics Research Institute and School of Sport and Exercise Sciences supported the live in-flight call with British astronaut Tim Peake, which took place at Liverpool’s World Museum.
