5. New film celebrates 200 years of LJMU in 90 seconds

   The film - LJMU 200 - celebrates the roots of the institution founded in 1823 and how it has become the modern university that it is today in its bicentenary year.

6. Founders' Day dinner to mark LJMU 200

   Distinguished guests and friends of the university were invited to a Founders’ Day dinner at Liverpool Anglican Cathedral yesterday evening, Thursday 6 July, to commemorate LJMU’s Bicentenary.

7. Call for submissions: Teaching and Learning Conference 2020

   This year's conference will take place on Thursday 11 and Friday 12 June and submissions are now invited from staff and students and collaborative partner institutions, as well as other colleagues working in post-16 education.

8. LJMU supports law students as host of national speed mooting competition

   School of Law students from LJMU, alongside those attending from other universities, took part in the mooting events, presenting their verbal arguments and putting their knowledge to the test that they’ve learnt during their studies.

9. Improving PGT student identity and their experience through understanding their expectations on entry – the findings from an 11 University HEFCE funded project

   The seminar will provide an opportunity for exploration through some of the findings from the HEFCE funded project.

10. World Book Day 2024: Reading Rivers

    Final-year creative writing student Kayla Marsh sat down with seven members of staff to discuss their ‘Reading Rivers’ – from the books never finished to the books that evoked tears.
