Liverpool John Moores University is committed to being an engaged civic University. LJMU works with a number of schools and colleges to provide opportunities to help pupils with their maths or English, work as a teaching assistant, mentor, after school club facilitators or offer subject support.
We identified that our priorities for development involve consolidating some areas, promoting some SDGs which are not typically present in our work, and influencing wider strategy within the institution. Our final goal is about embedding PRME into our strategic management practices.
The LJMU Ethnically Diverse Staff Network is open to staff whom identify as Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic, in the first instance.
Current CPMH Co-Director, Professor Nicholas J White (LJMU) and former CPMH Co-Director, Professor Andrew Popp (Copenhagen Business School) are the series editors of the Liverpool University Press book series, Studies in Port and Maritime History.
