1. LJMU honours Bicentenary fellows

   LJMU is to celebrate 10 new honorary fellows in its Bicentenary year at a special event at St George’s Hall this autumn.

3. First-of-its-kind Jamaican art exhibition opening in Liverpool

   The first exhibition of wholly Jamaican art to be displayed in North-West England will find its home in Liverpool this spring. The exhibition has been curated by Dr Emma Roberts, Associate Dean for Global Engagement for the Faculty of Arts, Professional and Social Studies at LJMU.

4. Supporting reconciliation in Cyprus through the recovery of war missing

   Families in Cyprus have been able to finally lay their relatives to rest thanks to a humanitarian project involving anthropologists from LJMU who have recovered and identified remains from multiple war graves.

5. How to find and access defibrillators across campus

   We have 60 on campus which anyone can access and use in the event of an emergency.

6. Help us make a difference to Student Health and Wellbeing

   Take part in our Student Lifestyle and Health Survey and help shape our wellbeing services.

7. The University Funded Diversity and Inclusion Scheme research initiatives announced

   After consideration of all applications to the University Funded Diversity and Inclusion Scheme, the projects to receive funding have been announced.

8. Bicentenary branded templates and assets

   To celebrate this special milestone year, we’ve added a range of branded templates and assets to our brand and design hub for all staff to access and use throughout the year.

10. Liverpool School of Art and Design MA students' work celebrated in exhibition

    The end of year exhibition runs until 1 September 2023, 10am – 5pm at the John Lennon Art and Design Building.
