  2. UK Malaysia University Partnership Grants

    The British Council Malaysia provide seed-funding to UK-MUC Members in the form of UK-Malaysia University Partnership Grants, with the aim of facilitating collaborations among UK and Malaysian institutions in key areas of priority.

  4. Julia Carter Preston (1926-2012)

    A British potter who was responsible for reviving the art of ‘sgraffito’ in the UK in the 1950s. She studied at Liverpool College of Art in the 1940s where she discovered a passion for ceramics and later went on to teach at the college too.

  5. The Digi:Đổi Consortium

    Funded by the British Council Vietnam, The Digi:Đổi Consortium is an innovative global network to deliver a future-proofed, scalable digital transformation hub in Vietnam underpinned by digital inclusion, wellbeing, and net-zero.

  7. Sport-related

    The Sport Coaching Research Group undertakes research within PE, sports development and leisure studies with sports organisations and governing bodies including British Cycling, Sport England, and the Youth Sport Trust. Our expertise relates to inclusivity in sport, coaching, physical activity and children's movement.

  9. Hannah Kate Whelan

    Hannah is an impressive LJMU alumni and former British gymnast turned coach and now mother. During her career she represented England and Great Britain at competitions including the Olympics, Commonwealth Games, British, European and World Championships, all while balancing her studies as a sports scholar.

  10. SDG 17 - Partnerships for the goals

    We are leading by example in our commitment to supporting the UN SDGs. As an institution, we are actively working towards these goals by prioritising actions to align our teaching and curriculum with the SDGs. Nationally, we are signatories of several covenants in support of equality, diversity and inclusion. Internationally, we’re leading a British Council consortium to address major global challenges and issues.
