Myles is an LJMU alumni of Liverpool Business School and a Black British Business Awards 2023 finalist. He’s the co-founder, director and consultant at a creative and strategic insight marketing consultancy that he runs with his twin brother Bradley. From not really seeing himself studying at a university, to using the varied skills learnt in his degree to his advantage, Myles embodies the courageous and inclusive values of LJMU in all aspects of his career.

This project focuses on the role olfactory and oral perception plays in shaping our consummatory experiences, preferences, and food seeking behaviours. Research into this area is important to health research, shaping understanding of individual differences in food selection, consumption, and other dietary behaviours.

International student Victory followed in her sisters' footsteps to leave Nigeria and to study in the UK. Choosing Liverpool as it was a vibrant and buzzing city, she has not only settled into life in the UK but also helped other fellow international students to do the same, by acting as a student mentor while undertaking master’s study in business and management.
