1. Teaching Staff - Call For Nominations to the Board of Governors

   Nominations are sought to fill one vacancy on the Board of Governors for a Staff Governor (Teaching) for the period 1st April 2020 to 31st March 2023.

   This March is Student Voice Month and we are asking staff to encourage all students to share their feedback and suggestions about studying at LJMU.

3. Charlie becomes National Teaching Fellow

   Dr Charlie Smith from the Liverpool School of Art and Design has received national recognition for his outstanding contribution to teaching and learning. He has today been announced as a winner of the prestigious National Teaching Fellowship Scheme (NTFS).

4. How can Virtual Reality enhance student learning?

   Dr Alison Lui and Dr Peter Wolstencroft in the Faculty of Business and Law look at the issues after hosting the inaugural European Immersive Learning Network at LJMU

5. Annual survey and audit of teaching space to take place this February

   The survey will be conducted between the hours of 9am and 5pm from Monday 5 to Friday 9 February 2024.

6. Sport coaching expertise goes international in Malta

   International specialists in the field of sport coaching at LJMU visited Malta earlier this month as they delivered face-to-face teaching components of the inaugural postgraduate programme.

7. Teaching textile and craft processes to high school pupils

   Staff and students from the Liverpool School of Art and Design have opened their workshops to pupils from Crosby High School as part of a four-month long collaboration exploring university learning.

8. Liverpool's learning leaders & community partners join LJMU for opening of its city-centre School of Education

   The £30million new-build premises on Maryland Street was officially opened by Vice-Chancellor Professor Mark Power.

9. Academic Board Elections - Teaching Staff

   Elections for the Academic Board teaching staff will take place from 24th May until 11th June 2019.
