2. Education – interviews with women activists in Nepal

   As a part of the Qualitative Analysis in Action project, you are invited to read the interviews with women who are making positive changes to education in Nepal. The interviews help us to gain a better understanding of these women's unique and inspirational lives.

3. Global Summer Schools

   Together with our partner universities around the world LJMU are offering our students the exciting opportunity to take part in one of our international Better Futures Summer Schools.    Making sure you refer to someone by the correct pronouns (during face-to-face interactions or in written format such as emails), can make a world of difference and demonstrates your dedication to equality, diversity and inclusion.

5. About the Elder Dempster project

   The Homeward Bound: A Liverpool-West Africa Heritage Project documents the lives and memories of Elder Dempster’s seafaring and office staff. As part of the project, we recorded 25 oral testimonies.

6. New finds and related archives – Elder Dempster

   Read more about new finds for the Elder Dempster Lines - the largest UK shipping group between Western Europe and West Africa from the late-nineteenth century to the 1980s.

7. Sharing Practice – Supporting Student Collaborative Activities with Shared Documents in Office 365

   Faculty colleague Andrew Kennedy has kindly offered to share his experiences of using shared documents on Office 365 both to support student group assessments and also to facilitate active and engaging shared writing and proof reading activities.
