   Join us at one of our undergraduate open days. Our open days provide the perfect opportunity to see our campus facilities and explore your options.

2. Prospective Postgraduate Research Students - Information Sessions

   The next session is 1.30-3.30pm, Tuesday 3rd September 2024 on Teams, lead by Dr Scott Foster and Dr Komang Ralebitso Senior. An in person event will be held on campus, 3pm-5.30pm on Wednesday 18th September 2024.

3. Sport and Physical Activity Department Open Day

   Come and visit the LJMU Sport Building and see our amazing facilities, meet our team, join the gym, try a new sport, and learn about how you can get involved in all of our ActiveLJMU programmes this year.

4. LJMU PE, School Sport and Physical Activity Network Event

   This face-to-face event is for primary and secondary teachers, Sport/PE students, trainee teachers and sports coaches working in schools. The event will: Disseminate the research activity and projects across LJMU PESSPA network Reflect upon the findings and recommendations of the Ofsted subject PE report series (Sept 2023) Celebrate collaborative activities/events.

5. The Moon: facts, fascination and the future

   We talk to Professor Andy Newsam, Director of the National Schools’ Observatory, about the Apollo 11 Moon landing and learn some interesting facts about the Moon along the way.

   Second year LLB Law student Poppy shares what she learnt away from the lecture theatre about legal history during a visit to Lancaster.

   LJMU's Sport Psychology undergraduate course is a great first step for those aspiring to become a sport psychologist.

8. A culinary trip to Kendal College

   Written by Jakub Pilski, BSc (Hons) Nutrition student. As a BSc (Hons) Nutrition student, I had the chance to join a cohort of students from the BSc (Hons) Nutrition and the BSc (Hons) Sport Nutrition programmes at Liverpool John Moores University on their trip to experience using commercial kitchens and dining at Kendal College.
