    Niamh is a professional footballer and was in the history making Lionesses squad, the England women’s football team, that made it to the final of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. She’s an alumna from our School of Sport and Exercise Sciences and was supported during her studies as a Sports Scholar.

  4. High performance computing at LJMU

    Prospero is LJMU’s high performance computing (HPC) facility for research. It is hosted and operated by the university’s IT Services (ITS) division, as a service to the university’s research community.

    Jasmine is the 2023/24 President of Liverpool John Moores Students’ Union and is striving to create better ways for students to get support for a whole range of challenges, particularly the hidden ones, that they might face during their time at uni.

    The Performance Sport team at LJMU is dedicated to improving both the sporting and academic aspect of student athletes.

  7. Gary Blacker

    Gary is a paramedic science graduate of LJMU with over two decades of experience in the ambulance service. He has now made the transition to become a full-time member of staff at the university, teaching the next generation of health professionals. In 2023 he was named as an Outstanding Teacher at the students’ union awards after being nominated by his students.

  8. Elysia Greenway

    Elysia is a PhD researcher with LJMU’s internationally renowned Face Lab, a research group focusing on facial depiction and representation, at the interface of art and science.
