  2. Dr Olatunde Durowoju

    Olatunde has been a member of staff within our business school for nearly a decade and most recently took on the role of Associate Dean for Diversity and Inclusion within our Faculty of Business and Law, ensuring students and staff are provided equity of opportunity to achieve whatever they aspire.

  3. Dr Carol Cox

    Dr Carol Cox is a former police officer who now heads up higher education’s most successful unit for higher skills in policing in England, the Liverpool Centre for Advanced Policing Studies, part of our School of Justice Studies. Carol always wanted to help in the community and has an unshakeable belief in the power of education.

  4. Leigh Pomlett

    Leigh is an alumnus of the Liverpool Polytechnic, using the skills and knowledge gained from his business studies degree to propel himself into a successful international career in the supply chain and logistics sector that spanned more than 30 years. He now combines his professional expertise and life-long passion for football for his role as Co-Chairman of Walsall Football Club.

  6. Contexts of human evolution

    Research within the Contexts of Human Evolution Group involves archaeological, palaeontological and environmental analyses of human evolution. Our research focuses on mammalian evolution, hominin behaviour and ecology, and patterns of faunal and floral distribution.     The Raspberry Pi, which you may receive, is intended to allow you to experiment with computing devices and develop your computing/coding skills prior to commencing your course.

  9. Professor Pat Shenton OBE (1945-2021)

    During her long career with LJMU, Pat was recognised nationally and internationally as an innovator who was progressive, courageous, and determined to enhance the life chances of young people. Up until her retirement in 2010 she was at the forefront of teacher education, schools, and community engagement; all with lasting legacies to this day.
