    Shaquita is the 2022/23 Liverpool John Moores Students’ Union (JMSU) Vice President for Education and is passionate about furthering diversity in education. Having lost her mum during her own studies, she demonstrated incredible courage to have completed her degree at such a challenging time in her life, and to then go on to represent the student voice at JMSU.

Inspired by her early life experiences, moving from Africa to Northern Ireland, and then the opportunities afforded to her by LJMU during her own studies, she is determined to help others and act as a role model.
