   LJMU’s EDI Team are proud to be working in partnership with an array of equality and diversity training specialists and subject matter experts, in order to offer the opportunity to participate in workshops and training.

5. Race Equality Charter

   Liverpool John Moores University joined the Race Equality charter in 2022 and was first presented with an Institutional Bronze Award in 2022, in recognition of ongoing work relating to race equality.

6. LGBTQI+ Flags

   In 1978 gay rights activist Gilbert Baker created the first Pride flag with the goal of it being a symbol for everyone. Since then many new flags were created to represent all communities within the LGBTQI+ community.

7. Calibre Leadership Programme for Disabled Staff at Liverpool John Moores University

   Calibre is a CPD accredited development and leadership programme for people who identify as neurodiverse, Deaf or disabled, or who have a long-term physical or mental health condition.

8. Diverse Futures: LJMU Sponsorship Programme for ethnically diverse staff

   LJMU’s Diverse Futures Sponsorship Programme connects ethnically diverse staff with senior leaders to foster career growth, inclusive leadership, and networking opportunities.
