Sports development alum Molly McCann, better known as ‘Meatball Molly’, is an inspiring scouse figure in the world of mixed martial arts (MMA). She is supported by experts in the School of Sport and Exercise Sciences to remain on top form as she competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
The Senior Leaders Apprenticeships are designed to transform participants into confident and strategic leaders. They focus on the practice of leadership and management, have a real-world focus and are delivered by Liverpool Business School academic staff who are respected experts, researchers, consultants and business practitioners.

Dr Amy Whitehead initially used and developed ‘Think Aloud’ as part of her PhD, looking at how Golfers make decisions. This led her to develop a course which supports sports coaches development, which was initially funded by LJMU, and delivered to a number of coaches at St Helens Rugby League Club.

With generous support from our School of Sport and Exercise Sciences, the Cluster for Research in Sport Coaching (CRiC) will meet for a coaching research symposium on Monday 12 June.
The aim of this study is to examine how effective the James’ Place therapeutic model is helping men overcome their suicidal crisis in both the short- and long-term.
