   Research undertaken by CCSE members of the Children and Youth Research Group seeks to explore the experiences of children and young people who come into contact with the Youth Justice System.

   Niamh is a professional footballer and was in the history making Lionesses squad, the England women’s football team, that made it to the final of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. She’s an alumna from our School of Sport and Exercise Sciences and was supported during her studies as a Sports Scholar.

4. Global Summer Schools

   Together with our partner universities around the world LJMU are offering our students the exciting opportunity to take part in one of our international Better Futures Summer Schools. 5. Book in review: Using Simulations for Education, Training and Research (Dieckmann (ed))

   Simulation-based educators should read this book, particularly those who are involved in designing programmes of training or who are responsible for designing the simulator environment and purchasing equipment.

9. Understanding the effectiveness of the James’ Place therapeutic model

   The aim of this study is to examine how effective the James’ Place therapeutic model is helping men overcome their suicidal crisis in both the short- and long-term.

10. DisSPA membership

    The DisSPA network aims to provide a transdisciplinary space to connect members and allies who advocate for, and collaborate to, enhance the provision of more inclusive and empowering sport and physical activity opportunities for people with disability.
