2. Front of class technology support sessions for staff - September 2022

   IT Services Technology Support staff will be on hand this September to offer informal guidance on the operation and use of in-class technologies such as projectors, visualisers, and front of class computers.

3. LJMU Estates Roadmap to 2020 progresses with 4-6 Rodney Street

   LJMU is currently in the process of mapping around six major capital developments across the city centre, the majority to be completed by 2020.

4. Applications open for Research England Policy Support Fund

   LJMU is being allocated funding from the Research England Policy Support Fund (PSF) to support the development of impactful research and engagement activities. Applications of up to £10,000 will be considered and applicants have until 5pm on Monday 10 October 2022 to make a submission.

5. Six engineering students to showcase innovative products at New Designers show

   From an ergonomic kettle to a complete redesign of a ship bridge system, these product design engineering students are using their ambition and fresh thinking to solve 21st century problems

6. Praise for LJMU’s support of care leavers from Minister for Higher and Further Education

   LJMU deserves the highest praise for their success according to the Minister for Higher and Further Education, after it was the first of only four institutions to be awarded the National Network for the Education of Care Leavers (NNECL) Quality Mark.

7. Drama and film producer Colin McKeown awarded honorary professor title by LJMU

   In recognition of his services to education and his enduring support of the university’s media production, film, journalism, drama and creative writing students.
