   LJMU is proud of its place in Liverpool and we are at the beating heart of almost everything that happens in the region.  However, with that presence comes a responsibility to be mindful and aware of our potential impact. In partnership with the other universities in the city, LJMU has embarked on a number of initiatives to work with local residents.

8. Student footballing star dazzles with Euro success

   As the UEFA Euro tournament 2016 gets into full swing in France, LJMU is celebrating its own football success story thanks to a Level 4 Sport Development student and sport scholar.

   Grad Fest 2019 is a new event for final year students at LJMU, taking place on 3 April from 2pm-7pm at the John Lennon Art and Design Building.

    LJMU has launched a new website hub to help support students through the rising costs of living, including help and advice, plus the financial support available from LJMU and JMSU and how to apply for it.
