7. Barrister-to-be selected for national law prize

   A Liverpool John Moores University law student has been awarded the prestigious national Neuberger Prize for her outstanding academic achievement.

8. In memoriam: Dr Jo Croft

   Dr Jo Croft, senior lecturer in English, died of cancer on 15 January. She was a dearly-loved colleague and teacher at LJMU for nearly 28 years.
