1. LJMU e-Racing Team Launch Evening a success

   It was great to see plenty of supporters at the LJMU e-Racing Team’s launch evening earlier this month when the team announced some big changes for the 2017-2018 season.

   LJMU has extended its reach in the southern hemisphere after signing a new memorandum of understanding with its first Australian partner.

5. Get free IT kit through Laptop and Recycled IT schemes

   Students can apply for a free laptop or recycled IT kit through the IT support schemes.

7. LJMU and Shakespeare North

   Planning permission has been granted for a new £19 million Shakespeare theatre for Prescot, Knowsley, which will have education at its heart.

8. Christine Eyene joins LJMU and jury of Turner Prize 2022

   The Liverpool School of Art and Design has welcomed a new lecturer to its ranks, art critic, historian, and curator Christine Eyene. As well as taking up a new post here at LJMU, she will also play an important role in deciding the winner of one of the best-known prizes for visual art, the Turner Prize 2022, as she has been selected to sit on this years jury.

9. LJMU Wellbeing Week 11th – 15th March.

   We have a full week of activities which draw attention to the importance of wellbeing and provides an opportunity for staff and students to try out new approaches to staying healthy and happy.
