As academics, we all understand the importance of assessment and feedback in enhancing student learning and achievement. The institutional assessment and feedback policy provides a framework for ensuring that assessment practices are consistent, transparent, and aligned with learning outcomes.
Implementing group work assignments can be a valuable way to promote student learning, encourage teamwork and collaboration, and develop essential skills such as communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
By considering diversity in assessment design, we can create inclusive and culturally responsive assessments that accommodate various learning styles and perspectives.
This list is to encourage you to think creatively about the possible ways to capture and encourage student learning through formative or summative assessment.
This guidance and policy review is a joint effort from the Teaching and Learning Academy, Faculty Assistant Registrars and academic staff. This site and the assessment and feedback policy are reviewed annually.
