   An international team including LJMU and led by University of Maryland has constructed one of the most detailed descriptions of a gamma-ray burst to date.

6. International sport coaching programme in Malta hits the right mark

   International specialists in the field of sport coaching at LJMU visited Malta this month, rounding off the academic year, as they brought together UK-based MSc Sport Coaching students with their Maltese counterparts on the MSc International Sport Coaching programme.

8. LJMU launches cost of living hub to support students

   LJMU has launched a new website hub to help support students through the rising costs of living, including help and advice, plus the financial support available from LJMU and JMSU and how to apply for it.

9. GRADitude Award

   For the first time, this year’s Amazing Teaching Awards from JMSU will feature a new award (the GRADitude Award) for a member of staff who had or is having a huge, positive impact on a final year student’s experience at LJMU.
