3. World Mental Health Day 2019

   World Mental Health Day on October the 10th is the annual global celebration of mental health education, awareness and advocacy. Throughout the week starting Monday 7th– Friday 11th October LJMU Student Advice and Wellbeing Services will be delivering a range of activities and raising awareness to celebrate good mental health and encourage us all to look at what we can do to maintain and promote positive wellbeing.

4. Careers support for 2019 LJMU graduates

   Whether you are a final year undergraduate or postgraduate student, there is a wealth of careers and employability support available to you both in the run up to graduation and beyond.

5. Third generation of family graduates from LJMU

   Kezia attended her graduation, with her dad and grandma, at Liverpool Cathedral this week as she received her Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), making her the third generation of her family to graduate from the university.

   Isabella, a former MSc Forensic Anthropology student, shared her favourite study spots across LJMU campus.

7. LightNight 2018

   The LightNight festival, which takes place on Friday 18 May this year, promotes the city’s arts and cultural offer to people who may not usually engage with the arts.

8. Christmas closure and support services over the festive break

   The university will close at 5pm on Thursday 23 December and reopen at 9am on Tuesday 4 January. The Student Life Building will be open 24/7 throughout the festive break including on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

9. Graduation review: Thursday 24 November 2016

   The first day of LJMU's 2016 winter Graduation Ceremonies kicks off at Liverpool Cathedral on Thursday 24 November 2016.
