1. Second Channel 4 relocation debate announced in Liverpool to tackle market reality of relocating the broadcaster

   LJMU has announced a second panel event to debate relocating Channel 4, from its current London base.

3. Menopause cafes throughout 2024

   This year we will once again host four menopause cafes for our staff, with the first taking place on Tuesday 16 January, and anyone wishing to attend can book via the staff wellbeing events page.

4. Empower Programme for students on the Autism spectrum

   The NHS Merseyside Health Sector Career and Engagement Hub is running the Empower programme - a pre-employment transition workshop for second and final year LJMU students on the Autism spectrum.

   Five candidates have put themselves forwards for the position and voting will take place between Monday 13 and 27 March.

   The department of Media, Culture, Communication in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences has established a new initiative to create space for students to socialise and support their wellbeing.
