    Our research aims to improve cardiovascular health via exercise training and physical activity. Our two main areas of expertise are cardiac function and structure and vascular function and structure in health and disease.

    Our research is applied in nature and is focused on physical activity, sedentary behaviour, fitness and health in laboratory and various real world settings.

    Research interests within the Health and Wellbeing Research Theme focuses on the psychological aspects of illness, health and healthcare delivery.     The Contemporary Art Lab's digital creative research relates to the relationship between technology and culture, as well as the way meaning unfolds through new computational forms.

  9. Shot Under the Volcano

    Shot Under the Volcano is a new multimedia installation by John Hyatt and the design agency, Uniform, at the Bluecoat and Sensor City inspired by Malcolm Lowry's 'Under the Volcano'.

  10. Nature Related Pedagogies

    The Nature related Pedagogies research group promotes inter-organisational collaboration and knowledge creation with a focus on nature related pedagogies for wellbeing.
