Former sports performance student, Helen Nicholls, has been appointed as Performance Director at British Equestrian.
Day two of graduation week saw more than 750 students receive their awards across two ceremonies at Liverpool Cathedral.
Here are some highlights of what happened at the first two graduation ceremonies of the week.
On 17th March 2021 Helen Sharman, the first British person in Space and first British Astronaut will give a talk at Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU). Helen will be speaking about her life and career as a scientist and as the first British astronaut.
Friday 18th March is Holi, a festival in the Hindu calendar often referred to as the 'Festival of Colours.' Here, MSc Sport Psychology student, Manisha explains to us all about the festival and how it is celebrated.
Given the success of last year's pilot, we are running the LJMU Reciprocal Mentoring Programme again and we are extending it to include BAME staff from across the institution. The programme is open to all LJMU Senior Staff from Director Level of non BAME Background and to BAME staff from non-Director Level and to Black Students from all Faculties.

It is with great sadness that LJMU announces the passing of Dr Malcolm Dixon who worked here for 30 years, until his retirement in 2015.
