1. Pointing disadvantaged youngsters towards careers in law

   LJMU once again proved its commitment to supporting young people from disadvantaged backgrounds thanks to the Law Factor.

4. Christine Eyene joins LJMU and jury of Turner Prize 2022

   The Liverpool School of Art and Design has welcomed a new lecturer to its ranks, art critic, historian, and curator Christine Eyene. As well as taking up a new post here at LJMU, she will also play an important role in deciding the winner of one of the best-known prizes for visual art, the Turner Prize 2022, as she has been selected to sit on this years jury.

5. Amy's 'energy balls' boost Europe's women to Solheim Cup

   Europe's Solheim Cup stars had LJMUs own Amy O'Donnell to thank for the amazing energy levels that brought women's golf's top trophy home.

6. Artificial Intelligence to give new access to 500-year-old manuscripts

   Ground-breaking computational methods will be used by a team of researchers to advance the access of historical collections and study the history of Early Colonial Mexico.

7. Changes to the Leadership and Development Foundation

   The Leadership and Development Foundation is undergoing some changes to better support all staff development across the whole of LJMU.

8. Family judge for Cheshire and Merseyside hosts first LAC public debate event

   Her Honour Judge Margaret de Haas QC hosted the first public debate held by LJMU’s Legal Advice Centre, which focused on the legal rights of grandparents.

9. Inclusive Allyship Programme (In Association With The Challenging Racism Webinar Series)

   Following the Challenging Racism Collaborative Campaign (webinar series), the University of Kent, Liverpool John Moores University and City, University of London are working with Inclusive Employers to deliver a virtual, Inclusive Allyship Programme.

10. Bronze for three schools as Athena Swan push accelerates

    Congratulations to the School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences, the Liverpool Business School and the Astrophysics Research Institute on achieving the Athena SWAN Charter Mark.
