Mooting quartet do LJMU proud
Liverpool John Moores University has been chosen as the Consortium Secretariat of a new Going Global Partnership, funded by the British Council, with Malaysia. The new collaboration aims to promote strategic engagement and bilateral cooperation in higher education between partner institutions in both countries.
International scholars and practitioners came together to discuss the theme at the inaugural Heavy Metal on the Airwaves symposium organised by LJMU researcher and lecturer Dr Nadim Hassan.
The university is deeply saddened by the death of Peter Law, who passed away peacefully after a short illness on Thursday 8 February.
The Liverpool School of Art and Design has welcomed a new lecturer to its ranks, art critic, historian, and curator Christine Eyene. As well as taking up a new post here at LJMU, she will also play an important role in deciding the winner of one of the best-known prizes for visual art, the Turner Prize 2022, as she has been selected to sit on this years jury.
