    The Liverpool Research Institute for Climate and Sustainability (LiRICS) aims to accelerate interdisciplinary sustainability (especially climate action) research with impactful solutions for economic, legal, educational, environmental, and infrastructural systems.

    HIV services and prevention work within the North West of England utilise the Public Health Institute's interactive tools, databases, and intelligence work. We offer assistance through evaluations and research into: contraception, teenage pregnancy, STDs, young people's health.   5. Professor Denise Barrett-Baxendale MBE

    Denise is a prominent woman in sport, previously holding roles at Everton Football Club and the club’s official charity, Everton in the Community. She gained her PhD at LJMU, is an Honorary Fellow and took part in the 24th series of our Roscoe Lectures in 2021.
