1. LJMU and LCR collaboration creates 44 apprentices for autism charity

   LJMU has collaborated with LCR to transfer £132,000 of unspent Apprenticeship Levy to Autism Initiatives, funding 44 new apprentice care workers for the charity.

2. LJMU School of Nursing and Allied Health celebrate multiple March awards and nominations

   LJMUs School of NAH has been shortlisted for nine awards at the Student Nursing Times Awards 2022 as well as a £2,000 Nursing and Midwifery Coordinator Social Prescribing Studentship awarded to Adult Nursing Student, John Wells.

   A local community organisation run by one of our academic staff is appealing for donations to support homeless people this winter.

4. MA Art in Science students exhibit works at Glastonbury's first art-science exhibition

   Ten Liverpool School of Art and Design students and graduates showcased their work in the Green Futures Field at Glastonbury festival.

5. Art and Science Exchange

   On Tuesday 27th & Wednesday 28th August 2019, the MA Art in Science programme at Liverpool School of Art and Design hosted an Art & Science Exchange workshop with members of the Biochemical Society. The exchange was held at the John Lennon Art and Design Building, in the Public Exhibition Space and X-Gallery amongst the MA Art in Science student's end of programme postgraduate exhibition, which showcases the outcomes of their three month research projects. These projects served as a basis for investigation of specific art-science interactions, and were supported by open discussions, hands on activities and a Liverpool LASER talk.

   This is a virtual seminar series to encourage discourse on decolonising the curriculum in the sciences.

9. Curator joins LJMU for curating the web research project

   Curator joins LJMU's School of Art and Design Exhibition Research Lab for a 12 month research project.

10. Masters in Art and Design Degree Show: Class of 2020 show their enterprise

    Around 40 students will exhibit their ideas from MA courses in Fine Art, Graphic Art and Illustration, Art in Science, Fashion Innovation and Realisation and Exhibition Studies.
