Two LJMU staff members will sit on the Career Pathways Action Group.
The university was celebrated alongside other Northwest-based organisations for its commitment to the Armed Forces community at the Defence Relationship Management (DRM) Merseyside Silver Awards 2023.
LJMU has created five Associate Dean positions across the faculties and one for Professional Services to support the university in driving forward the EDI agenda.
The aim of the programme is to offer LJMU Managers, Programme Leaders and Personal Tutors further support and guidance, in relation to; operating more confidently and effectively, whilst developing themselves and their staff/students positively.
This is an opportunity for LJMU/JMSU Managers, Programme Leaders and Personal Tutors (those directly responsible for staff/students) to participate in a half day (three hour) virtual, Lets Talk About Disability Workshop in order to gain tips for supporting staff/students with disabilities & long-term health conditions including mental health.
LCR Pride takes place on Saturday 27 July and we will be taking part in the Pride March on Saturday afternoon.
In addition to the keynote address, this symposium will include interactive sessions to share current research and best practices. The sessions will also support the development of future opportunities and areas of interest that can connect health and social care professionals with academic teams.
Our Freshers schedule ranges from raveminton, to open air cinemas, craft sessions to trips into the city and beyond, not to mention our heavily-anticipated Freshers Fair.
