1. New Pavilion now open

   Your fantastic new Pavilion at Aldham Robarts Library is now open.

2. Transgender Day / Remembrance Vigil Liverpool 

   Today is Transgender Day or Remembrance (20th November 2019) - A vigil will be held in Exchange Station 6.00pm onwards

3. New devices to record student attendance

   A large number of new devices have been installed across two of our campuses to record student attendance.

4. Public Health institute (PHI) host the European Federation of Environmental Health (EFEH)

   Public Health institute (PHI) host the European Federation of Environmental Health (EFEH) a regional branch of the International Federation of Environmental Health, which seeks to a provide means for exchanging information and experience on environmental health works to promote co-operation between countries

5. Student Information System Upgrade

   The University’s Student Information System (SIS) is being upgraded. SIS will be unavailable during the upgrade, from 5pm on Thursday 21st November until 8am on Tuesday 26th November.

6. Make a difference for The Whitechapel Centre

   For the last two years we have been involved in the Whitechapel Christmas Appeal and thanks to you all donating an amazing amount of gifts, you helped make Christmas special for The Whitechapel Centre clients. We are delighted to be supporting the initiative again and hope that you're are all feeling as generous as in previous years.

7. World AIDS Day - 1st December 2019

   World AIDS Day takes place on 1st December each year.

8. Exclusive look inside the Athenaeum

   For a couple of years now, we've offered walks for staff, led by Martin Hudson, Lecturer from the School of Business and Management, who is also a Blue Badge Guide in his spare time.

9. LJMU's ACTivator Earns National Recognition

   ACTivator, LJMU's programme of researcher development workshops, has been awarded the 'Developing Excellent Practice Award 2019' at the Staff Development Forum's (SDF) annual national conference.

10. TRANSPEER in Lisbon

    The Portugal-leg of TRANSPEER, the international researcher development programme, has taken place in Lisbon.​​​​​​​
