    Read Karen Critchley's story - When Karen graduated with a degree in Fine Art from LJMU she was not at all sure what she wanted to do with her life. Some 14 years on she has a Masters in Public Health under her belt and a flourishing career at the Public Health Institute.

    Niamh is a professional footballer and was in the history making Lionesses squad, the England women’s football team, that made it to the final of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup. She’s an alumna from our School of Sport and Exercise Sciences and was supported during her studies as a Sports Scholar.

    As a part of the Qualitative Analysis in Action project, you are invited to read the interviews with women activists in Nepal. The interviews help us to gain a better understanding of their unique and inspirational lives.

  6. Electric Machines and Drives Group

    The Electric Machines and Drives Research Group conducts research into: variable-speed electric drive systems, electrical power generation plants for renewable energy sources and power electronic converters for interfacing the variable-speed drives and generators.
