   Three LJMU Screen School alumni recently visited current film studies students to share their experience of working in TV and film production.

   To mark the day, Marie Hie, JMSU's Black and Asian Minority Ethic Student Officer, talks about LJMU's reciprocal mentoring scheme and how we can all contribute to reducing inequalities

4. New LJMU Library ‘Every Voice Collection’ available for all students and staff

   The LJMU Library 'Every Voice: Diversity, Equality, Inclusion Collection' has over 8000 titles that champion different voices.

5. Training: Supporting students from Gypsy, Traveller, Roma, Showmen and Boater communities

   LJMU has long prided itself on offering access to higher education to under-represented sections of our community.

6. Graduate and Placement Recruitment Fair – 10 March, 12-3pm, Student Life Building

   Students from any programme or level of study are invited to attend this fair to meet and network with 50+ employers offering internships, placements and graduate roles.

7. This time last year LJMU student and now graduate Nathan Bickerton, went viral

   He was offered a job just fifteen minutes after creating a Wikipedia page and tweeting The Diary of a CEO host and BBC Dragon, Steven Bartlett. Here he tells us about the whirlwind of a year he's had, what his LJMU undergraduate and postgraduate degrees taught him, and his own tips for how to stand out from the crowd in the job market.
